A Note on Tax Credits

How long does EV charger installation take?
A standard home Level 2 install usually takes 2 to 4 hours. If a panel upgrade or long circuit run is needed, it can take a full day. We assess this during the free estimate.
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. Many homes have the capacity for a 240V circuit. We check your panel load and breaker space during the estimate, and if an upgrade is needed we can do both in one visit.
Is there still a federal tax credit for home EV chargers?
The federal 30C credit ended for chargers placed in service after June 30, 2026. Check with your utility for any current rebates.
Can you install EV chargers at my business?
Yes. We install commercial charging for offices, retail centers, restaurants, apartment complexes and parking facilities, including multi-port stations with smart load management.
Can I install a Level 2 charger myself?
Plugging in a charger is easy. The 240V circuit behind it isn't. It needs the right wire and breaker size, a load check on your panel, and in Georgia a permit and inspection. Getting it wrong is a fire risk and can void your homeowner's insurance, so it's a job for a licensed electrician.
